We had Toby since he was six months old. He died 10 days shy of his 13th birthday from diabetes and probable liver cancer. He lost his sight about two and a half weeks before he died. HE was such a brave boy.

Toby was my best buddy, my walking partner, he rode in the car with me every day. He was faithful and funny, loved to eat Cheezit's and animal crackers as well as his dog food and treats. He was very smart. He used to love to grab a toy and run around the house after he would come in from going potty.

I miss him so much. I miss him being at home to greet me after I come home from work. I miss going through the drive thru at McDonald's with him. I look for him everywhere. I know he is in Heaven but I still miss him so much.

Sorry for your loss

I wanted to say my heart goes out to you. I lost my beloved Rachet 6 months ago a week before he turned 14. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't shed a tear but it gets a little better with time. Rachet left his schnauzer companion Socket behind and as of February Socket was diagnosed with Diabetes. It took me over a month to get his glucose under control. Everyone was so helpful with their kind words when I posted about Rachet's death and honestly it helped me to know that so many other people knew what I was feeling. Since Rachet's departure I now have 2 puppies (didn't want Socket to be lonely) and a few months ago I rescued 2 female Schnauzer sisters from breeding their whole life. Every 6 months they were having puppies and this went on until they were over 6 yrs old. I hope as time passes your heart will start to heal.

I'm so sorry for your loss rest assured he is at peace and loves you for having him be a part of your life and family I feel your pain and hurt I myself list my best friend a little over a year her name is Mckenzzie May God Bless you and heal you while you grieve . Toby will always be in your Heart and your Memories! Take Care
