Schnauzer Penny Elliot

Penny came to us 2 months ago in February 2011 from an elderly couple that couldn't handle her high energy. She joined Max, my 4 year old male black and silver Miniature Schnauzer. He was pretty lonesome after we lost Gus a black MS a year ago. I was hesitant to get another dog and I still really miss my Gus A Tribute to Miniature Schnauzer Gus Elliot.

Penny doesn't look or act like him - she is her own sunny personality with lots of energy and she is keeping us on our toes. One of the reasons I decided to keep her was her birthdate was the same as Gus' and I felt that it was meant to be. She is still settling in, but she has been a terrific playmate for Max and she has burrowed her way into our hearts.

Oh, Anna! Penny is just adorable!! I remember when Gus passed, and how sad you were. It's great to see that Penny has already begun to do her 'job'. You are right when you said it was meant to be ~ the same birthday . . . what a blessing for both you and Max! Keep us updated with new pix, too!

looks like Penny & Max are going to be the very best of friends. A house full of schnauzers sure does make a home, doesn't it. Bless you for adopting Penny and giving her a loving forever home.
