Our Lil Girl Gretta

Our lil girl Gretta whom was Mommies Lil Snuggler and Daddies Lil Darlin. She was a part of our family for 13 years. We brought her home from the Amish farm were she was born at and she won our hearts over immediately. She was a very lovable dog.She had a cancerous tumor grow on her leg at 11 yrs old and we had our vet remove it only to find it was stage 2. She put up such very hard fight with it, but the cancer finally won and we had to put her down on Jan. 3, 2020.

Gretta I hope that your waiting at the rainbow bridge for Mom and Dad. We miss you so much.. No more major greetings at the front door when we come home and no more snuggling up in bed to us. To me and Mom you weren’t a dog, you were like a daughter, a family member. Our hearts are very heavy and hurt, We miss you so much. I hope that your up their In heaven, cancer free and enjoying yourself... like you did with us.

So sorry about your little girl Greta. We hope you have found comfort the past two years. You gave her the best life.

Just found this post because I searched the date. Our little boy Gladio was born on 1/3/2020 and he kind of looks like Greta. <3

Gretta, The first thing I did every time I arrived at Brian’s house was to look over at your mommy and daddy’s front door to see if you were looking out. You always greeted everyone. I used to have schnauzers, and seeing your sweet little face reminded me how much I missed them. Hopefully you have found Tipper and Angel, and Chazzy as well, and the four of you are joyfully running and playing in those glorious fields in heaven. We all take comfort in knowing that you and your new friends are now pain free. Your mommy and daddy love and miss you so very much but like they said, they know they will one day be seeing you at Rainbow Bridge.

Dear Greta,
If it weren’t for you I might not have gained one of my best friends. You brought Margaret together because I bought my parents a Schnauzer also named Greta many years ago and you reminded me of her, so when I saw you I just had to go out to meet you. The rest is history.
