Our first family dog, Jaze.

His name Jaze derives from our family’s first names, they are as follows… Jacek, Ann, Zoe, and Elton. He was our very first family dog, we had him for almost 14.5 years.

We sadly decided to put him down on Jan 5, 2024. His health had been deteriorating for a couple months, and finally in his last days he couldn’t eat, was not really mobile anymore, and had a gurgling sound coming from within, not quite sure of the origin. He sounded like he was having a problem with breathing, in addition, he started bleeding internally, and from nose and mouth. We took him for all the X-rays and testing, and after accumulating a very steep bill, they were not able to pinpoint exactly why he had low platelets, and why his immune system was shutting down. After going to the pet hospital to see him the following day, we made the conscious decision to put him down.

Jaze gave us unconditional love and affection. He was quite the handsome, enthusiastic, mischievous, charming, and loyal companion. We are heartbroken, but so glad we met him, and that he was a part of our family. I will miss him dearly. I hope he found the rainbow bridge, and unlimited quantities of salmon. We love you Jaze. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
