My Sammy

She came into my life in May of 2000. The runt of a litter of a family of three. I am very blessed in watching her grow from a puppy to adulthood. I called her my "My little senior citizen", we both had gray hair.

I can go on and on telling you about her soulful, big brown eyes. On August 18, 2013, I made a decision to send her to the Rainbow Bridge. She had Osteosarcoma cancer of the right front leg.

I wrote a poem about her: To My Sammy

You came into my life when everything was falling apart. When I saw you, you stole my heart. You kept me grounded when I needed to be, by looking at those big brown eyes, staring at me. You've been my companion for 13 years, my heart is broken, shedding many tears. My tears will go away, until that time I see you again, you will always be in my heart, and my friend.

I understand your pain... It is sooo soo hard to loose the love of our heart.

I lost my darling baby Sasha 10 Months back and
it still aches a lot and the hole remins the same.
i think with time it will ease a bit but they will stay for ever in our hearts.

I know that Sammy and my darling Sasha and other loved fur babies are playing and waiting for us in the rainbow bridge..

Sorry for your loss

We lost our Katla just a month ago and the pain is still aching in our hearts, We understand your loss. Treasure the memories you have. I chose to believe that the Lord gives us these special friends for a season to bless and enrich our lives. After they depart, we are so much better for having loved and cared for them. God bless.
