Dearest Casey,

Just days short of your 13th birthday my sweet love I had to make the hardest decision to end your life. You stopped eating any food one week earlier and I knew from the denial of the first treat something was horribly wrong.

It was the most special month of July as I had taken off work so we got lots of walks through your favorite places and your last week was full of close hugs and kisses. And your Mommy and Daddy (I'm his big brother/owner now) got to visit a week with you and you were healthy and added much joy to their trip in seeing you.

I hope you know how special you were to me and that you will be missed by me forever. The house feels empty and my heart is heavy.

Dear Steve,
Casey was such a happy dog...you couldn't have picked a better match. I know that he will always watch over you and that he is running through fields of green with his big smile and loud bark. You made the most unselfish and most humane decision too help him get on too his next life. He will always be your fur baby and he was so lucky too have you...you gave him the BEST life filled with lots of love. Steve, you are the most kind hearted, loving person I have ever met and I am so honored too be your friend and a part of your life.

So very sorry for your loss of your precious Casey. My sweet little schnauzer, Chloe Marie, went to Rainbow Bridge on April 27, 2015 at just 6 years old. I hope they are there romping and playing together with all their new friends. Again, so very sorry for your deep loss.
