My Beloved Skeeter

To me Skeeter was an exceptional Schnauzer. He was almost human. Everyone loved him because he was so laid-back and would always bark if he needed something. He was a beautiful salt and pepper Schnauzer with long eye lashes that everyone admired.

When Skeeter was a puppy, he would take a magazine out of the basket on the floor and rip out page after page till the floor looked like a paper collage. He loved to hide under the bed, roll on his back and run. Boy, he loved to run. He wasn't the most affectionate dog until his last year of life and loved to be held in your arms on your lap to sleep. He was truly loved by everyone he came in contact with.

Skeeter was my best and only pal for 16 years and my heart is empty without his love and companionship. I love him and miss him so much especially when I get in the car because he was always with me. My heart aches for him even though I know he is now with his best pal Remington in puppy heaven.
