my little man, Leo

May, 2013 i had to put my precious mini schnauzer Leo to sleep. I donated his body to the vet so maybe she could learn more about his illness...turned out he was dying of end-stage liver cancer.

He had been so healthy for almost 10 years, then quickly went blind and deaf and became confused. I knew when he could no longer get comfortable and became more ill, it was time to let him go.

On his last day, i took him out for his last walk with our Beagle. I gave Leo a little bath and combed him out. I sang to him and gave him a couple little chunks of raw carrots...his favorite treat. I did okay until i put him in my car to take him to the vet to have him put to sleep. I cried and cried and cried.

It’s been almost a year now and not a day goes by without me thinking of my sweet boy Leo :(

I lost not one, but two , precious pups, both to cancer.last year. A few days later an orphaned silver salt & pepper mini Schnauzer was brought to us. Geno Janeiro, now 8 months, is thriving and has a Schnauzer Crazy mom and dad, so in love with our little man!

Sweet Little Man...

He is the sweetest lil man and i was in tears when i read about him and his last journey.
He is pain free and he loves you the most...

I lost my darling babay Sasha last march and i habe not stopped crying. Sometime it is a blessing to know that he is sick and we need to let him go to sleep, but my sasha's passing was all on a sudden and i am not able to comprehend with that.

They say, with time it gets better...
Please Adopt/rescue another lil man to walk around you in rememberance of your old lil man...
he can bring smiles back to the face...

I want to thank you for taking such good care of Leo and I'm sorry for your lost. Your post brought tears to my eyes as I have experience a lost of love one too. They are not pets, they are members of the family.
