My Beautiful Child NEKA

Neka was another child to us and so much a part of our family. She was our baby from the moment she first kissed me at the very tender age of 7 1/2 weeks old until the day she passed away in my arms on Feb 11, 2012 at 2:35 am. She was brave and courageous and she fought cancer with every ounce of her little being. Our hearts were broken and her little sister was devastated and mourned like the rest of us. She so wanted to live. She now rests in the arms of our savior and we will see each other again when its time.

Neka was a Beautiful… Stubborn...Solid Black… and oh SO SOFT. She had huge black eyes that spoke to the very soul of you. She especially loved to lay among my purple petunias and would smell and roll around in them until they were crushed to a pulp. She is missed terribly.

We as animal lovers know the joy of unconditional love that non animal lovers will never understand. The pain of their loss is very real and deep. Your little ones may be gone from this realm but await us while sitting by our Lords side. I want to thank all who replied to NEKA and I mourn your losses with you also.

Tears for Neka

As I read this about Neka it was as if I were reading about my Lucy girl. She to has passed this year. Neka, I am so sad that you had to go but now your there playing with my Lucy. She too was solid black and LOVED my mini roses. She would stick her head in the bush and rub the flowers. I miss her so much still. But I now have another little fur love. Buddy, he is 8 months. I know it will get easier but today,,,,, I cried tears for Neka and Lucy....

I am so sorry for your loss, I lost my own black mini, Gus to cancer on March 31, 2010 and it is so heartbreaking. They are with us such a short time under normal circumstances.

Ohh, I am sooo sorry for your loss and pain. My heart hurts and tears are flowing ... just hearing about it!!!! I soooo DREAD the day (if they go before me) that I have to endure that loss!!!!
