Miss Personality: Effie Lou

Effie was brought into our family at 6 weeks old in 2009. She is now 3, and will turn 4 in August. She is salt and pepper miniature schnauzer, and she is our only baby. She loves her mommy and daddy, mimi and pawpaw, and her aunt Kiss. She acts like she doesn't like her cousin Baxter, but she secretly misses him when she is away. Her favorite toy is her laser pointer and her squeaky dog.

Effie loves to run and chase squirrels, go to the park, and play with the dogs at the dog beach. When it thunders, she has to lay by her mommy. She loves to cuddle when she is sleepy, and bark when she is excited. Effie hates the vet and the groomer. She always tries to tell her mommy that she is ok and doesn't need to go. Other than those two places, Effie loves car rides, unless it's raining. The windshield wipers scare her, and she is scared she will get wet. Unless she's at the beach or really hot, Effie hates getting wet. She has so much personality that sometimes we think she is human.
