Miniature Schnauzer Petey
My name is Petey and I am a 4 year old male miniature schnauzer. I don't remember much prior to being adopted from the local Schnauzer rescue group, but I am told that I had a dislocated hip and was at an area shelter until the wonderful rescue people took me in and fixed my injury. But that's all in the past and I have a wonderful, loving home now.
I'm always eager to chase my tennis ball and make my squeaky toys sing. Oh, how I love those toys that make noise! I have many friends in the neighborhood, both human and others of my sort, and so enjoy having someone's attention and usually wrap my paws around their leg to get a closer ear scratch or back rub. Ooh, it feels so good!
My good buddy Gumby, who won last month's contest, and I protect the neighbors from errant squirrels and like the way they seem to play hide-and-seek with us. I am very good at imitating a siren and do it sometimes in the middle of the night when I'm dreaming of some sort of dangerous rescue mission.
I know I was given a second chance and take every opportunity to show my gratitude and unconditional love.
