Miniature Schnauzer George

George came to live with us on Boxing day 2006 at 14 months old when his family were emigrating.

He's such an adorable character, cheeky, sweet and loving. He loves to play, obsessed with footballs and balloons and loves a cuddle from his mum and dad.

We decided to get a pal for him, Max our other miniature schnauzer, who at first he played with, then rejected for a while. He came round and taught Max to interact, now he pines if they are parted and cuddles up to him when they are home.

He's a great house dog but such a friendly personality, he'd probably lick them to death.

He hates rain, water and bath time and will walk around a puddle so he doesn't get his paws wet he also hates thunder and fireworks.

I love the way he sits up and begs for treats. I too have one that hates thunder and lightning. He doesn't mind running in the water or the rain, but is petrified of gun shots, thunder, or any loud noises like fireworks.

That's what my OH calls him as he loves a cuddle from me and will come to me rather than him. He will 'yabba dabba doo' to say hello or tell you he's happy and even wags his tail to order. Maybe it's because he's such a happy boy ;-)
