Miniature Schnauzer, Mom made me wear this!

Harley D is a 4 year old mini schnauzer, born on June 5, 2005. His favorite toy is his sisfur Sophie Claire. Harley loves all kinds of food including veggies and fresh fruit. Sophie was in daycare and one day I went in and there were two little schnauzer boys waiting for a furever home. I couldn't resist and Harley became a member of our family. He is a therapy dog and currently works with patients with dementia and also works with a local hospice. His pet peeve would be water! He thinks it is only for drinking!

My 13th Birthday.

Next Tuesday, June 5th, Harley will be celebrating his 13th Birthday. He still works as a Therapy dog and enjoys visiting at the hospital. Health wise he is doing well and enjoys life to the fullest!

Harley is now 12 years old. He has a stage 4 heart murmur but not in congestive heart failure. He still works as a therapy dog but I keep him to once a week. As long as he tells me that he wants to continue, we will.

Harley Davidson is now 7 years old and continues with his therapy dog work. He now visits two hospitals and currently works with 6 children with autism in a local school. Harley is also our neutral dog who is present when testing new therapy dogs for our therapy group. What a pleasure it is to watch Harley as he is different with everyone he is with. He never ceases to amaze me!
