Mini Schnauzer Niko

We started out looking for a companion for our mini dachshund Sasha. She's been going to a local dog park since maybe 4 months old and there are a lot of schnauzers that attend this park that I'd grown to love. We found a breeder that was the closest to us (which is almost 4 hours away), and decided to make the long drive to pick up Niko.

Meeting him for the first time he fell asleep in my husbands arms and we just fell in love immediately. His first meeting with Sasha didn't go so well. She wanted to know what the heck we were thinking bringing this dog into her life. Now, 1 year later, they are like brother and sister. They defend each other at the dog park and love playing at home and sleeping in the same bed. Niko is her forever big little brother.
