I will never forget the day we met you barreled across the floor like a little silver rocket and leaped into my arms like Superman then proceeded to lick my face until I was laughing too hard to breathe, it seemed. It was only weeks later that I knew how mistreated you were by the people who asked me to doggie sit you, how close to not making it you were, and Dr. Randy and the ASPCA helped get you away from them, fix you up good as new, and we were lifelong best friends.

You were just a year old when we found each other, and 20 1/2 years young when we lost each other. So many years of memories and great times... every day I miss you Dilli Dog. We were together almost half my life, and almost all of yours. You never got sick, except that one year you had kennel cough and kept both of us up all night! You never suffered, until you just got tired and finally crossed the rainbow bridge to wait for me. I will see you in a while, Dilli Doggie, my best friend, and I will miss you every moment until I do.
