Happy New Year from Chewy!

This is my little buddy Chewy, who we lovingly call Choo Choo. We found Chewy on a breeders website purely by accident. Our mini schnauzer Chip had just passed away after being part of our family for 17 years. I was longing for Chip to come back, but knew he couldn't. I missed his face. So then I started looking during my free time for "that" face. The new dog had to look like Chip somehow.

I found Chewy on a breeders website under "older puppies". I thought how odd that was. I found out that he was 6 months old and was almost adopted by his uncle's owners. We met him and he was so much more than we expected. He kissed us and then proceeded to lay on his belly looking for hugs or therberts, or maybe a combination of the two. It really was love at first sight. He has been with us for the last 6 months and his birthday is the day before Valentines Day - how appropriate for this wonderful, little lover boy! xoxo

update on the Chew!

So hi everyone! Chewy is having a great summer so far! He went to the vet this past Saturday and came out with a clean bill of health! We are also going to schedule him for the big "snip"! The vet reassured us it was the right thing to do since we weren't going to stud him. He will live longer too! We fixed Chip, my previous pup and he lived to 17 years old, which leads me to believe there is really something to this.

Well today, in going thru Chewy's paperwork I looked up where he came from. NOT GOOD! I cannot believe how gullable I was. I am so heartbroken that I gave to this horrible, terrible, malicious person via a third party.

I will love my Choo Choo even more now.

He is adorable. I love his ears. Our little girl Pepper was born on 2/16 and we feel the same way about her. These darlings are so easy to fall in love with.
