Charlie, my handsome boy, died on Thanksgiving Day 2011

Charlie, my handsome boy,
brought me happiness, life and joy.

He sang with me, his howl so true
he even could say "I Love You".

He loved to swim, he would take laps
and finish the day with a long, long nap.

He walked with me down to the pond,
he was my friend, a true loving bond.

Be snake, be squirrel, be bear in the wood
all beware for he feared not one.

Fourteen years, 4 months he lived,
so long too short. No please, not him.

I love you Charlie and always will
the love you gave will never dim.

Sorry for your loss

I had to put my dog Rachet down on the 12th of November. There still isn't a day that I don't cry or miss him more than anything. He would have turned 14 the following week. My heart aches along with yours and I wish there was a magic spell that could bring our dogs back. I have actually found comfort knowing that other people respond on this site as it made it a little more easier for myself.

Enjoy The Memmories

Hello

So sorry for your loss of Charlie. We just had to put our Miniature Schnauzer Hildi to sleep on November 18, 2011 who was 14 years 4 months old, she was born July 6th 1997.

We are missing her terribly but today went to see a breeder who lives near Ottawa Ontario Canada as she has a schnauzer who is due to give birth on the 8th of December. The breeder has 8 females who live with her and they were all addorable and so friendly.

While we miss Hildi we are looking forward to bring a little girl and a little boy home in February who will have each others company while we are at work.

I hope as with us that the pain lessons with time and that you can hold onto the wonderful memories you have of Charlie.
