Blossom became Blos the Boss

Blossom was living with a recently widowed elderly man whose Alzheimers was resulting in her care being seriously neglected.

Our pet spa (boarding, daycare & grooming) was called to pick her up for grooming. When we saw her condition and how terrified she was of everyone. We contacted the owner's adult children and told them we couldn't return her to those conditions. At the time she was 6 years old.

We took her in to our home and when she became healthier (less skinny) and more sociable with us. She started going over to the dog spa and socializing with the daycare and board in guests.
Becoming the resident dog at the spa quickly changed everything for her. Since our policy Is 'cage free' boarding/daycare she had as many as 30 playmates every day and soon established herself as Alpha.

Now at 12 years old with Congestive Heart Disease, with careful medication she's still lively and playful. She also has a younger 2 year old, sister. Also a salt & pepper Miniature Schnauzer, Daisy (no we didn't choose either name) and she knows she is still the boss of this establishment in Central Florida.
