Bevo

Bevo became part of our family in 2010 when our youngest son moved away. I had "empty nest" and needed someone/thing to take care of. My mom had a friend who did dog rescue so went to visit.

The second we walked thru the gate, I saw him and he saw me. He had a look on his face, the same that I felt in my heart... "well there you are". He walked over to me and immediately turned and started "prancing" for me. Then he came to me and wanted me to pet him and he stayed right by my side the entire time we were visiting. He came home with me that day and is my little snuggle bug.

We originally thought he was 3, but when his veterinary records arrived, it turned out he was 9. He needed and received dental care and had several teeth removed soon after he joined our family.

He is very laid back and very well mannered... except if a stranger is near... the cable man nearly got bit when he walked in the house without Bevo seeing me "let" him in first... He's been such a joy
