Bean the Rescue Pirate

My son used to be scared of dogs when he was little. While in 3rd grade a teacher brought her rescue dog...and Steven fell in love with it. After begging me to get him a dog for months, we went to the local Humane Society. We could not find a small dog....we kept on coming back every weekend. One day he said..."this one is perfect for me". I asked why do you say that? His reply was: He is not hyper, he is small, not a barker...and he needs me".
It was a miniature schnauzer, but you could not tell. He was a fur ball. Now, Bean is my shadow !
He follows me everywhere!! His love feeds my heart. .and he can tell when I have a low sugar episode. He is such a big member of our family.
We love him so much! He rescued us!
